When the 38-year-old Daniel Model went outside to remove the thunderstorm that raged in the distance, he did not expect the revelry of the elements to so quickly be directly above him. A man stood on the terrace of his house in Gjerstad (Norway) and photographed lightning that illuminated the sky. However, nature had other plans for Model.

Standing in slippers on the porch, Daniel witnessed a lightning strike, which left a hole in the ground in the backyard at a distance of only 5-6 meters from the man. Of course, the Norwegian did not manage to capture the blow itself, but he shot a very impressive video about its consequences. The model said that when he entered the house, he discovered that there was no electricity, and that the electricity network was damaged.
