When not ashamed to relax in Turkey

This is already the second year to the questions of friends, relatives and acquaintances "What did you do in the summer?" children answer: "We went to Turkey." And I feel mortally ashamed.

I, so free from conventions, creative and fearless, accustomed to travel through the Asian jungle and uninhabited islands, have been traveling to Turkey for two years. Like thousands of my monotonous fellow tribesmen, ready to sell my soul for an all-inclusive package and a certain set of stars.

And yet, the second time (or rather, even the third, if you recall the very ancient times), I choose this country for a summer trip with children. Why?

Yes, I really do not want to join the ranks of those who, except Turkey, do not know places to relax. But Turkey is not to blame for this. After all, Turkey is not at all what we used to understand by this stamp. Yes, the Turks are smart. They created an excellent picture, a package of pleasures for the most popular tourist, learned how to serve, please and row a lot of money. Umnichki, everyone would be so.

That's just where package tourists go, considering that they fly to Turkey, not Turkey at all. This is a personal plastic paradise created for them.

My Turkey is a completely different thing.

Once my friend and I were in Turkey with a package tour. True, the hotel did not sit, rode on marches and walked. Then the Turks, instead of pestering us, lied with our children, gave them souvenirs and fed ice cream to the cafe for free. Even then, I began to suspect that it was not so simple with Turkey.

The second time we went to the village of ираıralı, on the cliffs with a children's climbing club.

This year, choosing a beach for the first beach holiday in our family’s life, I again stopped in Turkey. And again we were in the village. Adrasan. Here's how this place looks on the map:

There are no multi-story hotels. Package tours are not taken here. In a week, we saw either three or four foreigners. In Adrasan, local, Turks rest. This is a real and very lively place.

No, there is no animation and nightlife here, and this is the first mega plus. No, I don’t need auxiliary forces to amuse children, they have great fun themselves, having at their disposal the sea, a swimming pool and their own room.

No, there is no all-inclusive system, and this is the second plus. We had breakfast at the hotel, dined at one of the cozy river restaurants located right on the water, surrounded by crabs, ducks and eels, and dined at the other end of the beach. Different places that we personally selected for the taste and assortment of dishes, convenience, pleasant location and courtesy of the staff. Well, and the availability of Wi-Fi, of course.

No, there are no mega malls and supermarkets, no one here attracts you to buy gold and fur coats. Here are only small village shops.

Yes, there is a great beach. With sunbeds for 100 rubles (however, if you came for just a couple of hours or in the evening, then you do not need to pay, so we never paid). Spacious and free. Pebble on one side and sandy on the other.

And here is our hotel - Klados Adrasan, it seems, the largest in the whole village. As many as three floors. To my question, is it possible to accommodate the seven-year-old Gregory for free and pay for a double room, I was told that no problem.

Two pools + paddling pool. Children woke up and immediately dived. Swam while we had breakfast. Swam when we returned from the beach. And then they bathed a little more.

To the beach - 100 meters. Or 200. In general, five minutes walk slowly. Here is the pebble part.

And here is the sandy one, about a kilometer away. A pleasant promenade, which should start about 18 hours, when the heat subsides. For evening swimming and dinner.

On the first evening, the children climbed into the sea for about 22 hours, in complete darkness. And bathed for at least an hour. We almost did not see them, but we could not pull them out for moral reasons. Painfully they dreamed about it.

And here is our day:

got up at 8-9 in the morning,

pool - breakfast - pool,

we go out to sea at 11, because otherwise we won’t have time before the heat,

leaving the sea at 12:30 - 13:00 so as not to boil,

we change clothes and at 14:00 we wander into the restaurant on the river,

we get home at 16:00,

and the children immediately dive into the pool,

we hardly pull them out around 18:00,

and go to the distant sandy beach,

around 20:00 we move from the water to a local restaurant for dinner,

around 22:00 we go to the side of the house, past the stalls with magnets, shops with halva and other joys (shops by and large are just on this side of the beach).

And yes, about 6 days of rest went like that. I admit, I thought that I would start to go crazy and bite those passing by from boredom on the second day. But no. Great company and how immensely happy the children have been all this time, these two moments have performed a miracle.
As a result, we didn’t have time to either buy ourselves or rest. It was too early to leave, sorry and insulting. Again did not have time)))

Well, of course, I was immensely glad that we did not choose a plastic paradise for a package tour, but this one, a lively and real not-quite-paradise. Everything here and now was good. Nicely. It is comfortable. And rightly so.

Yes, Turkey - it sounds disgusting and trite. But I’ll definitely come here more than once, because Turkey is a great country.
