These rare "Gothic" chickens are 100% black from feathers to internal organs and bones!

This amazing bird is a rare species of chicken from Indonesia called ayam kemani. Their completely black color makes the birds one of the most exotic and mysterious in the world.

Each part of this unique chicken is black, starting with metallic black plumage and ending with onyx-black paws. Even her internal organs are coal black! This effect is caused by a condition called fibramelanosis, a harmless genetic mutation that causes the penetration of additional melanin into the tissues of the bird's organs. This process takes place in the embryo. The breed has existed since the 12th century and was previously considered exclusively elite.

In Indonesia, they believe that the charcoal-black blood of these chickens is a delicacy for spirits who will bring power, wealth and good fortune to such a person.
