In October 2016, the famous Fazer confectionery brand will open a new center for visitors who will be able to get acquainted with the long history of the company, applied innovative methods and, of course, a wide range.

A month earlier, in September 2016, Fazer will celebrate the 125th anniversary of the opening of the Russian-French cafe on one of the central streets of Helsinki by Karl Fazer. Fazer, which has gained worldwide recognition, is still a family business and, in addition to chocolate products, produces baked goods, bread rolls and crackers for healthy lifestyles, as well as frozen foods.

The new center will offer entertaining hour-long excursions with guides that everyone can visit - both individually and in groups. They also have conference rooms where you can negotiate or celebrate a children's birthday; a store where Fazer products and all kinds of culinary master classes will be most widely represented.

The Finnish architectural bureau K2S, who created the famous Chapel of Silence in the central metropolitan area of ​​Kamppi, is responsible for the appearance and interiors.

The Fazer Visitor Center is located at Fazerintie 6, Vantaa. Opening hours: Monday to Friday - from 9.00 to 19.00 in the evening; on Saturdays - from 10.00 to 18.00; on Sundays - from 12.00 to 18.00. Iittala & Arabia: for design lovers

In mid-November of this year, Finnish glassware and ceramics manufacturers Iittala and Arabia will open a joint design museum that will allow everyone to appreciate the wonderful heritage of both companies and give them a glimpse into the future of household items and decor.

Over the years, the Arabia office in Helsinki has been a center of attraction for many design connoisseurs from around the world, especially from Asia, hosting over 200,000 visitors every year. With the opening of the new museum, Fiskars Holding, which owns the Arabia and Iittala brands, plans to attract even more visitors and give them an unforgettable experience of meeting with the iconic Finnish design. “We want to offer exciting and interactive excursions for locals and tourists who are interested in the history and traditions of Finnish design,” said Paivi Paltola, vice president of Arabia and Iittala.
