Australians have created a floating bin that cleans the ocean

Two Australians, Andrew Turton and Pete Seglinsky, created the Seabin, a floating bin that can collect plastic bottles, paper, oil, fuel, and cleaning products into the ocean. This invention has become a cheap alternative to garbage boats.

“One of the goals is to produce Seabin from caught plastic to catch even more trash, this is the domino effect,” the creators of the “bucket” say. “The second goal is to create a world that we will not need Seabin.”

This floating bin can collect plastic bottles, oil, paper, fuel and cleaning products in the ocean.

This is a fairly cheap way to deal with marine pollution, which requires low maintenance.

"One of the goals is to produce Seabin from recovered plastic to catch even more trash, this is the domino effect.
