Abandoned Italian palaces in incredible pictures of a French photographer

For almost 10 years, French photographer Thomas Jorion has been visiting Italy, exploring the decadent collapsing palaces of the 18th and 19th centuries. Using an analog wide-angle camera, he immortalizes these relics of the past for a project that he calls Veduta. Jorion without unnecessary pathos and anguish shows us the former glory of the collapsing and decaying palaces.

Each interior, still rich in exquisite decorative painting, is gradually turning into complete chaos and the realm of corruption. The goal of the photographer is to capture the personality of all these once-royal luxurious rooms.
