Polar bears watch the sunset in Alaska

Kactovik is a small town on Barter Island (Alaska) with a population of about 250 people. It is here that the National Arctic Reserve is located, where you can meet lynxes, wolverines, deer and many other animals. But the most ambitious of them is undoubtedly the polar bear.

French photographer Sylvain Cordier had two weeks to follow on the heels of the bear with the cubs in order to "chat" with the animals face to face and take these amazing pictures. As he himself tells, he was very lucky to meet such a calm and friendly family. As a result, the she-bear allowed their boat to come very close to the shore. And once the sunset began so colorful that even the bears stopped and seemed to enjoy a riot of colors.
