How to get a fan passport and match tickets: quickly, without waiting in line

The 2018 FIFA World Cup is being held at 12 stadiums in 11 cities of Russia. Only 64 matches. Just think how many tickets this is. Everyone needs to give them away. FIFA's main ticketing center is surrounded by lines all day long. Yesterday I visited there, tin in general. But there is an opportunity not to stand in the heat and not waste your time.

The main ticket issuing center in Moscow is located at Zhitnaya Street 4. It is within walking distance from my office. I thought I would come in for lunch and get my tickets. There it was. A long line snakes along the street, just a huge crowd. In indecision, I stood for five minutes to assess how fast the process was progressing. In general, stand at least an hour. I didn’t have so much time left. Honestly, I was shocked that people spend so much time in the heat, it is exhausting wildly.

I decided to try my luck and go to the FAN-ID clearance center. This is a fan passport, without which a ticket is not valid. There I was more fortunate. At the entrance, a nimble volunteer girl distributes coupons from an electronic queue machine. As soon as I received it, I immediately went to the window. I did not wait a minute.

There are three such offices in Moscow: Korovy Val, 5; Khamovnichesky Val, 34 and Volokolamskoye Shosse, 73. The support service is afraid that the central point is very busy and recommends using the services of the other two. I don’t know, during the day everything happens very quickly.

As I understand it, you can register in advance and just come to receive. But I didn’t have a suitable photo, so I did everything on the spot. Registration took about five minutes. Five more are manufacturing. After 10 minutes, I went out with a ready-made fan passport.

Now I have a FAN-ID. It's great. But still you need to somehow get tickets. I studied the information on the site, called the support service. In addition to the main point, there are also points at the airports of Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo. Going there is irrational and reluctant. However, there is an alternative way - an additional ticket office. I wasn’t, I’ll go there.

At the entrance, volunteers hang out to help visitors and guide them to the right place. A ticket can be obtained by passport in a window of a living person, or by credit card, which was paid. She asked, as soon as she was sent to the machine. You insert a card, the machine takes a photo, asks for a date of birth for control and issues a ticket. All. Three minutes. A total of THREE MINUTES and no need to stand in line in the heat.

You can’t take pictures inside. I wanted to, they stopped me and showed the crossed out camera icon. There are really very few people, the room is air-conditioned, a stone's throw from the metro.

An additional point for issuing tickets is located at Moscow, Projected passage 4062, house 6, building 16. This is next to the Technopark metro station, literally three minutes on foot. Why people stand for hours in the center, I still don’t understand.
