Where to spend an unforgettable summer: Russian reserves invite volunteers

The year 2018 has been declared the Year of Volunteers and Volunteers in Russia. For many of us, volunteering is associated with sports and cleaning the area from household waste. Meanwhile, volunteering is voluntary and gratuitous assistance to those in need, covering many areas of human life, from helping people to caring for nature.

Volunteering brings together thousands of people around the world. In our country, this movement is only beginning to gain popularity, covering mainly the youth community.

But recently, people of an older generation are increasingly becoming volunteers.

The help of volunteers is used by charitable, sports and environmental organizations. This is exactly what we want to tell about the opportunity to help nature and spend summer vacations in the most beautiful corners of Russia.

In Russia at the moment there are more than 100 state nature reserves, the main purpose of which is to preserve unique ecosystems. In addition to protecting rare species of flora and fauna, the reserves are engaged in environmental education and research activities. Many of them attract volunteers for the summer season who provide assistance of a diverse nature. This can be landscaping, haymaking for winter feeding of animals or work related to the scientific activity of the reserve.

Every year, several thousand volunteers spend their summers in protected corners of Russia. "Caucasian"

The Caucasian State Biosphere Reserve is located in the Krasnodar Territory.

Kuznetsk Alatau

The Kuznetsk Alatau State Nature Reserve is located in the Kemerovo Region.

Kronotsky

The Kronotsky State Nature Reserve and its famous Valley of Geysers are located in the eastern part of the Kamchatka Peninsula.

"Pechoro-Ilych"

The Pechoro-Ilychsky State Nature Biosphere Reserve is located in the Komi Republic. It housed the famous experienced elk farm.

"Tigirek"

The State Nature Reserve "Tigirek" is located in the Altai Territory.

Kivach

The Kivach State Nature Reserve is located in the Republic of Karelia.

Oka State Reserve, which is famous for its bison population, is located in the Ryazan region.

"Prioksko-Terrasny"

The Prioksko-Terraced Biosphere Reserve is located in the Moscow Region, and here they are also engaged in restoration of the bison population.
